Outstanding phone and problem solving skills are a must as is an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, Quickbase and other similar software programs. We require sales candidates to have a general knowledge in at least one business vertical be it broadcast and post-production, storage, or business networking and serving solutions, plus at least 3 years of experience developing relationships with major accounts. Area Sales Position Region 2- Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota

Job Description:
I/O Partners is a leading systems integrator and supplier to the broadcast and post-production industries in the United States. We are currently seeking qualified Sales Representatives to join our sales team or Independent Agents to represent our company in several marketing regions.

These positions may require considerable travel. As the Sales Representative, you will follow up with prospects and existing customers, discover and pursue new opportunities developing quotes and proposals based on the guidance of the Sales Director and Engineering staff. You will lead in answering qualified RFP's, and assist the Sales Directors in developing relationships with accounts at multiple levels. You will work directly with the assigned regional team to optimize sales and will report to the Regional Sales VP.

Ideal candidates would have successful selling experience of technology products to one or more of the following targets:

Broadcast Operations
Production and/or Post Production Facilities
Channel Partners and their customers
ISP's or Telcos

The ideal candidate should have experience and confidence in making sales calls in a highly competitive market, closing sales opportunities and must display the eagerness to prospect. Outstanding phone and problem solving skills are a must. We require candidates to have a general knowledge of broadcast and post-production products, at least 3 years of experience developing relationships with major accounts and a passion and desire to succeed in this field.
